Frank Messano A.I.A. Joins WJN as Senior Project Manager

W.J. Northridge, an industry leader in Construction Management Services is pleased to announce the new hire of Frank Messano A.I.A. as Senior Project Manager. Frank joins us from Park East Construction Corp, where he was previously teamed with Frank DarConte A.I.A. In this role as Senior Project Manager, Frank will be responsible for overall project management operations. As a licensed Architect in New York, he has over 32 years of experience in Architecture, Construction and Construction Management. He utilizes his outstanding coordination skills, pre-construction and Project Management techniques to successfully direct the project teams.
Teachers Federal Credit Union Moves into New Corporate Headquarters

W.J Northridge has recently completed the construction of the new 100,000 Sq. Ft. Corporate Headquarters Facility for Teachers Federal Credit Union. Serving as Construction Manager for the overall Building Program, WJN was awarded the Project in October of 2010 and promptly commenced with Pre - Construction Phase Services. Working closely with TFCU and the Project Architect, JRS Architects from Mineola, N.Y., the Design/Build Team developed a Program which consolidated a number of existing TFCU Facilities and brought their corporate functions under one roof. A "fast track" construction schedule drove the Trade Activities with full occupancy by the Fall of 2011.
WJN Constructing Multiple Projects for Federal Express at JFK Airport

Federal Express has taken possession of the New Canopy/Loading Platform at their JFK Airport Facility in New York. Along with our joint venture partner STR International, this "Ramp Side" Project required close coordination with the Port Authority of New York and Federal Express Operations Managment to maintain ongoing operations while providing modifications to existing Sort Equipment and Caster Deck Placements. The WJN and STR International Team are currently spearheading the installation of a new Fire Alarm System for the facility as well as providing Design - Build Services for the Fed - EX HVAC Replacement Program.
Update: Nassau Boces Ira Wolfson High School in Punch List Phase

WJN is nearing completion of the 10 million dollar expansion/renovation program at Nassau BOCES – Greenvale. W.J. Northridge in conjunction with Ehasz Giacalone Architects, P.C. have created a “cutting edge” Education Center for the Nassau BOCES – Alternative Learning Program. WJN guided Nassau Boces Ira Wolfson High School towards student occupation in March of 2011 serving as construction managers. WJN is now focused on completing the project by monitoring the contractor’s final punch list items.
WJN Completes Huntington Crescent Club

With Mojo-Stumer as architect and W.J. Northridge serving as General Contractor, the renovations on the Huntington Crescent club were completed in May of 2011. The project included a renovated ballroom, dining hall, boardroom, lobby, reception hall as well as a new state of the art Perlick bar system. Project highlights included custom mill work and marble as well as an extensive wood staining project.
GM Advisory moves to Rubies Corporate Plaza

Also representing a Mojo-Stumer design, the new GM Advisory headquarters was completed by WJN under the General contractor project delivery. Residing on the third floor of the Rubies Corporate Plaza in Melville NY, the new space is replete with high end marble and millwork finishes. Project highlights include a contemporary design of high quality executive offices and conference rooms. The space also includes a research area. GM Advisory is a leader in financial advising for clients of a high net worth.
